On the Main Menu tab, the Transactions submenu provides options that allow users to view and maintain endowment transactions for assets, liabilities, cash, security transfers, and transfers to and from the General Ledger.

Description

Asset Decrease (EAD)

Used to reduce the holdings of a KEMID, either through the cash sale of an asset or by removing it directly from the KEMID holding record.

Asset Increase (EAI)

Allows you to add to the holdings of a KEMID, either through the cash purchase of an asset or by depositing it directly into the KEMID holding record.

Cash Decrease (ECDD)

Allows you to record a reduction to the cash balance of a KEMID.

Cash Increase (ECI)

Used to record an increase to the cash balance of a KEMID.

Cash Transfer (ECT)

Allows you to you to move cash from one location to another within a KEMID (for example, from income to principal) or between KEMIDs.

Endowment to GL Transfer of Funds (EGLT)

Allows you to move cash funds from one or more KEMIDs to one or more General Ledger accounts.

GL to Endowment Transfer of Funds (GLET)

Allows you to transfer cash funds from one or more General Ledger accounts to one or more KEMIDs.

Liability Decrease (ELD)

Allows you to reduce a liability for a specified KEMID.

Liability Increase (ELI)

Allows you to increase a liability for a specified KEMID.

Security Transfer (EST)

Allows you to decrease the holdings of one KEMID and increase those of another KEMID without affecting the cash balance of either.
