The Cash Sweep Model Maintenance document is used to manage your institution's specifications for periodically and automatically sweeping uninvested cash into short-term investment vehicles. Each KEMID may be associated with only one cash sweep model. Each model controls separate investments of income and principal. If a KEMID's cash balance is negative when the automated process is run, your institution's business rules may allow for the sale of investments to cover the negative balance.
