Type restriction codes are related to endowment types. When an endowment type is assigned to a KEMID, the associated restriction code serves to define how the KEMID's funds are to be used according to the agreement establishing the KEMID. Additionally, specific rules affecting activity in the KEMID depend upon whether or not the associated type restriction code represents permanently endowed funds or not.
