The Proposal/Award Close document allows the designation of all proposals submitted and awards entered up to a specific date as 'closed. After a 'close' date is placed on these proposals and awards, some critical data becomes historical and cannot be changed unless prior approval by institutional representatives is given. This section facilitates future reporting needs to external agencies. While it is primarily used for external sponsored funding for post-award activities, it can also be used for awards internal to the institution when appropriate.
There is no lookup screen to access this document. When you select the Proposal/Award Close document from the menu, you are immediately taken to the Proposal/Award Close document.
