Document Layout

The Close Code Maintenance document includes the Edit Close Code tab. The system automatically enters data into both the Old and New sections in this tab. Selected data fields are available for editing.

Edit Close Code tab definition

Title	Description
Close Code	Required when initiating a document; otherwise, display only. Identifies the reason an account may be closed. This code does not affect system processing, it is for information only.
Close Code Description	Required. Your institution's description of the reason associated with the close code.
Active Indicator	Indicates whether this close code is active or inactive. Remove the check mark to deactivate a close code.
