The Asset Acquisition Type document includes the Edit Asset Acquisition Type tab. The system automatically enters data into both the Old and New sections in this tab. Selected data fields are available for editing.

Edit Asset Acquisition Type tab definition

Title	Description
Acquisition Type Code	Required for 'create new.' A unique code to identify an acquisition type.
Acquisition Type Name	Required. A descriptive name for the acquisition type.
Income Asset Object Code	Optional. The object code to be assigned to this acquisition type.
Active Indicator	Indicates whether this asset acquisition type code is active or inactive. Remove the check mark to deactivate this code.
