Use Of Funds

The Use Of Fund is an attribute of the Account document that is utilized to track a type of funding for accounts as indicated by various organizations in the university.  This attribute serves as a data flag that could aggregate data at an account level for reporting purposes. 


Document Layout



The Use Of Funds Code document contains the Edit Use Of Funds Code tab. In edit mode, the system automatically enters data into both the Old and New sections. Selected data fields are available for editing.

Required. A four-digit alphanumeric code that identifies a Use Of Funds

Required. Selected 2 digit code.

Required. Selected 10 digit alphanumeric code.

Use Of Funds Description

Required. A 400 character explanation that describes the use of these funds.

Active Indicator


Indicates whether this Use Of Funds code is active or inactive. Remove the check mark to deactivate an account type.
