Duration codes are used in the Budget Construction Salary Setting process to identify the duration of leaves from work (sabbaticals, leaves without pay, etc). Some of the duration codes delivered with KFS include Sabbatical Leaves and Leaves Without Pay (for example: SAB1 - Sabbatical Leave: 1st Semester).
After you select Appointment Funding Duration from the Maintenance Menu tab, you may look up, create, and modify existing duration codes.
